As of 2021, Brooklyn has served in local churches and youth ministries for 20 uninterrupted years. She and her husband, Coy, started Somos Church (which means, “we are Church”) in Lakeland, Florida. On top of her role as the volunteer youth pastor at Somos, she helps lead the development of youth and kids content here at Stuff You Can Use.
