Sharing a meal together can be a crucial moment in the growth of a relationship. It’s why most dates, parties, and reunions with old friends are centered around a delicious meal. The relation power multiplies when you put in the work to prepare the meal together. Check this activity out with your group this month and enjoy!

ADD YOUR OWN DATES: FAITH STORIES
Our stories are unique and powerful. This month, make a plan with your group to participate in this Faith Stories activity either virtually or in person. Listen to the stories of others, process your own story, and share your story with someone else in this activity meant to help us all grow.

EVER PRESENT: A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT ON THE HOLY SPIRIT

SERIES OVERVIEW:

Trying to understand or study the Holy Spirit can be confusing, mysterious, it might even feel controversial depending on your background or experience. So when something is complicated or confusing, what can we do? Avoid it and hope it goes away or dig in deeper to try and discover what’s really going on? There are times when we’re much more likely to confront big questions head-on and other times when the subject seems too big or outside of our areas of expertise. So we ignore the questions and hope that doesn’t come back to bite us later. But what if the subject of the Holy Spirit isn’t something we have to be intimidated by or something we need to be able to fully define? There will always be elements of the Holy Spirit that feel beyond us, but when we give ourselves the freedom to explore we can see that the Holy Spirit is a gift God gives us, a guide who shows us truth, a teacher who gives us wisdom, and a friend who helps us love.
