TELEDOUGH It’s the classic game of Telephone with a kindergarten twist! Can you create out of play-dough what the person before you did? Download Slides WHAT TO GET PLAY-DOUGH. You will need need can per team. INDEX CARDS. ADULT LEADERS. You will need one adult leader for each team. WHAT TO PREP THE CLUES. You’ll need come up with a list of ten to twenty nouns. This can be anything from a car to a horse. Write them down on the index cards and make a deck of cards from them. HOW TO PLAY SPLIT INTO TEAMS. Split your group in to groups of six or more. The bigger the team the longer each round will last. Have your teams sand single file all facing away from the back of the room. Give the person closest to the back of the room a can of Play-dough. Have an adult leader positioned at the back of the room with the deck of clues. PLAY WITH PLAY-DOUGH. Have your adult leader in the back show the last person on each team the first round clue. On “Go” have the first person open their can of Play-dough and start building the object from the card. When they think it is put together enough that the next person will know what it is, have them turn around and tap the next player on the shoulder. The second player will turn around and look at the Play-dough creation. Once they think they know what it is they will hand the Play-dough to their adult leader who will then ball it back up into a ball. The adult leader will hand the ball back and the second person will create what they think the person before them had made. Repeat this process until the the last person in line has created the clue. Have the person tell their adult leader their guess if it is correct then the whole team can sit down. First team to correctly guess the clue and sit down wins that round. ROTATE AND REPEAT. Have the person who had the final guess on each team rotate to the back of the line to be the player who will start with the Play-dough the next round. The team with the most points at the end wins! PRO TIPS You will need to have some good music pumping during this game to keep the energy up! Make sure your adult leaders assigned to each team know they are not on the team they are working for. The need to play fair and not let competition could their judgement.
