The 25

Description:

Can you count to twenty five? Sounds easy right? But can you count to twenty five as a team but only saying one number at a time but if anyone in the group speaks at the same time you have to start over!

What To Get:

  • NO SUPPLIES!

What To Prep:

  • NO PREP!

How To Play:

  • SPLIT INTO TEAMS. Split your group into however man teams as you want. You will need one adult leader in each group to keep everyone honest.
  • CIRCLE UP. Have each team circle up with the adult leader in the middle. Once everyone has circled up tell everyone they can not speak again until the game starts. Explain to everyone that the object of the game is to count to 25 with each player only saying one number at a time. But if two players speak at the same time they are out. They also cannot use a basic pattern like counting up in one direction around the circle or skipping every other player in the circle. If they are caught using a simple pattern then they will be sent back to zero and will have to start over again.
  • COUNT. On “Go” each team will start counting to twenty five one number at a time. If at any point two players on a team speaks at the same time the adult leader will signal them to go back to zero. Also if the leader catches teams using physical signals like blinking or nodding their heads then they will be sent to zero. First team to reach twenty five wins!

PRO TIPS:

  • VARIATION. This game is a great game to play online during a Zoom call. Instead of playing with multiple teams you can just play as one team and see if you can make it all they way to twenty five!

We know it’s hard to find (or create) quality youth group games, which is why we decided to put together the most incredible library of games we possibly could! The Grow Games and Icebreakers App has a library of more than 500+ games, and it’s always growing! There are team games, party games, screen games, team games, outdoor games, and indoor group games for youth ministry. All the games you could ever want, basically.

This app is built for kids and youth ministry. All of our games are created by church leaders and ministry-tested!

Plus, the games are fully customizable. Every game comes with graphics, instructions, and a place for you to add your notes, photos, videos, game categories, and game ratings. You can even submit your own original games if you have some you’re proud of!

The app also comes with handy tools you might want to use during a game (or a sermon) like scoreboards, clocks, a prize wheel, polling capabilities, and a random name chooser.
