You&#8217;re not good at everything (neither are we) and don&#8217;t <em>have<\/em> to be good at everything.<\/p>\n<p>But as a leader, you&#8217;ve got to know what you&#8217;re not good at so you can put systems (or even other people) in place to help you improve in the areas where you&#8217;re growing. <strong>Your job as a leader is to <em>identify<\/em> the problems in your ministry so you can <em>address<\/em> them<\/strong>\u2014but to do that, you&#8217;re going to need honesty.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF. <\/strong>Like, ruthlessly honest. Not what you <em>wish<\/em> your ministry were like or what the <em>end goal<\/em> is. Be honest about the weak spots in your ministry<em> right now<\/em> and your own personal leadership.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>ASK OTHERS TO BE HONEST WITH YOU. <\/strong>Ask people you trust to give feedback on you and your ministry so you can identify potential problems. Talk to co-workers and mentors. Talk to volunteers. Talk to parents. Talk to your group, too! Ask them to help you identify your weakest areas and really listen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Wherever those problem areas are for you, please don&#8217;t be discouraged. It means you&#8217;re one step closer to diagnosing and solving the source of your attendance problems and making your ministry healthier overall. <strong>This part of the process requires humility and courage.
