So, to help you celebrate the Olympics with your group, we&#8217;re giving away one of our favorite kids events, <em>Go For the Gold, <\/em><strong>for free! <\/strong>Just download the PDF to get your copy.<\/p>\n<p>(If you&#8217;re looking for our student event, <em>World Record<\/em>, head <a href=\"https:\/\/growcurriculum.org\/go\/an-olympic-themed-event-for-your-youth-ministry\">here<\/a>!)<\/p>\n<p>Inside this event, you&#8217;ll find everything you need to bring healthy competition, creative problem-solving, and hours of laughter to your kids. We&#8217;ve designed a series of silly sports stations to help your kids work together and win points for their team.<\/p>\n<p>Want a rundown of each event? You&#8217;ll get activity guides, shopping lists, and more for these events&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>JAVELIN DARTS: <\/strong>Kids will try to throw their pool noodle javelins through a giant Hula Hoop dart board.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>WATER BALLOON ARCHERY: <\/strong>Water balloons will be the arrows and a balloon launcher the bow in this archery competition.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>GYMNASTIC FREEZE DANCE: <\/strong>This game will get kids moving and working on their best stretches and gymnastic poses.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>BEAN BAG SHOT PUT: <\/strong>Kids will throw bean bags into a marked area to win points for their teams.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>JUMP ROPE RELAY: <\/strong>Teams will work together to complete a series of three jump rope-based challenges at this station.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>BASKETBALL SHOT CONNECT THREE: <\/strong>Teams will compete head-to-head to see who can be the first to line up three <span id=\"3b6b78c8-71bb-0446-6c2b-1db0a85b7593\" class=\"gc-revision-history\" data-revision-history=\"changed\">beach balls<\/span> horizontally or vertically.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>TUG-O-CANOE: <\/strong>Teams will work together to see who can pull the inflatable boat full of volunteers the furthest.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>DIY SAILBOAT RACE: <\/strong>Kids will build their own sailboats and then compete to see whose boat can sail the fastest.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>ALL-PLAY VOLLEYBALL: <\/strong>With a court divided into as many spaces as you have teams, kids will play a game of seated volleyball to win points for their teams.<\/li>\n<li data-gc-list-depth=\"1\" data-gc-list-style=\"bullet\"><strong>ALL-PLAY TRIATHLON: <\/strong>Kids will work in groups of four to try and complete this relay race to win points for their teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n    \n\t\t<style>\n\t\t\t.post_pdf_details {\n\t\t\t\tpadding-top: 15px;\n\t\t\t\tpadding-bottom: 22px;\n\t\t\t}\n\t\t\t.help_section .row {\n\t\t\t\tbackground: \t\t\t}\n\t\t<\/style>\n\n        <div class=\"post_pdf_details\">\n            <div class=\"help_section\">\n                <div class=\"container\">\n                    <div class=\"row\">\n                                                    <div class=\"column image\">\n                                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/growcurriculum.org\/go\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/OlympicEventKids_16x9.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n                            <\/div>\n                                                <div class=\"column text\">\n                            <div class=\"text_section\">\n                                                                    <div class=\"feature_text\">A Free Resource from Grow Kids<\/div>\n                                \n                                                                    <div class=\"help_text\">Go For the Gold!
