LEGACY: A 5-WEEK SERIES ON THE HOLY SPIRIT
WEEK 1 BIG IDEA:  THE HOLY SPIRIT HELPS US WANT TO KNOW GOD.

SERIES OVERVIEW:

There is a legacy waiting, for every kid everywhere. The legacy has been handed down like a valuable family heirloom and this month you’ll get to tell kids about what that legacy is! The Holy Spirit is the legacy that Jesus gives to every person who believes. The Holy Spirit is for everyone and helps us so much. The Holy spirit helps us know God, love everyone, do God’s work, and makes us a part of God’s family.

As we have expeienced this past year, worship doesn't only take place at a church service . . . worship could take place at home. So what can you do to help kids make worship a regular part of their lives outside of church? Here are a few ideas. 1. Teach the kids you lead what worship really is. 2. Talk about how you worship outside of church. 3. Give them ideas on how to worship creatively.  4. Remind them to worship often.

If you're subscribed to Grow Your Ministry, now would be a good time to attach Volunteer Tip Video #10 from your Volunteer section.

At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!

We know you're learning a lot about kids while you lead them, so we'd love to learn alongside you. What's one thing you've learned this year that every parent with kids should know?
