RISE UP: A 4-WEEK SERIES ON EASTER
WEEK 2 BIG IDEA:  JESUS CONNECTS US TO EACH OTHER.

SERIES OVERVIEW:

Grab your hiking boots and pitch a tent. It’s time to summit through the story of Jesus—who rose from death and gave us everything we need for our journey. This month, we’re learning about how the miracle of Jesus’ resurrection strengthens us and changes our relationships in the best way. Everyone will have a chance to put these ideas in their backpack to carry with them always: Jesus overcame death. Jesus connects us to each other. Jesus gives encouragement. We are stronger with Jesus.

We all know that every so often, kids ask us questions that we might have trouble articulating. Well, as we are celebrating Easter, some kids might wonder, "Why does it matter that Jesus is alive?" THIS VIDEO shows one way we might start that conversation!
At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!

We want to be awesome at training and equipping our volunteer team, so here's a question: is there anything you wish we taught you or better prepared you for?
