Happy Almost-Valentine’s Day! If this feels like a stressful or dramatic season for your teenager, take a deep breath. We’re in this with you!

Here are a few things coming up in our ministry . . .

ADD YOUR OWN DATES: STATIONS OF THE CROSS
This quarter, your group can schedule a do-it-yourself Stations of the Cross experience. At each station, different group members will be able to lead a discussion, activity, or reflection to help the others experience this story in a new way and reflect on their own relationship with Jesus. Start looking for the date (or dates) on your calendar that will work for your group this Easter season.

ADD YOUR OWN DATES: BRING YOUR QUESTIONS
Even with the best preparation, you’ll never be able to discuss every subject or explore every question that your group members are thinking about. So this quarter, for one session (or a few), have your group members bring their own questions. In this activity, people will have a chance to talk about all the questions they thought they couldn’t ask. You can allow your group to submit questions anonymously during an in-person get together, or online using the social media graphics we’ve provided, or both!

MADE RIGHT: A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM GENESIS ON JUSTICE

SERIES OVERVIEW:

Revenge. Have you ever wanted it? Have you ever sought it? Have you ever gotten it? When we’re treated cruelly or unfairly, it’s natural to want justice. But what does “justice” really mean? Is it only about handing out consequences and punishment to the people who have wronged us? Or could it be about something more? When we are the victims of injustice, how do we balance forgiveness and grace with truth and consequences for the people who hurt us? In this 4-part series, we’ll examine the story of Joseph from the book of Genesis. Through Joseph’s story, we’ll see that justice is love in action, and that, when we’re wronged by others, we can still hold on to hope, trust that integrity can withstand injustice, and learn to practice justice that restores what’s broken.

HUMAN BEINGS are works in progrss that mistakenly think they’re finished.” No matter where you or the people in your group are at in life, we all have so much change and growth in front of us. Thank you for joining us in helping people to love who they are today and continue to grow on their own individual journeys.

At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!

Have you had any extra-awesome discussions with your group throughout these last few series? Tell us about it. We’d love to celebrate with you!
