We’ve got a couple of special events happening in the next couple of months just for you and your teenagers, so keep reading to find out more!

Here are a few things coming up in our ministry . . .

ADD YOUR OWN DATES: STATIONS OF THE CROSS
This year for Easter, schedule a do-it-yourself Stations of the Cross experience for your group. In this activity, group members will be able to lead a discussion, activity, or reflection to help the others experience the Easter story in a new way and reflect on their own relationship with Jesus. You can schedule this the week of Easter Sunday or anytime this month that works for you and your group.

ADD YOUR OWN DATES: BRING YOUR QUESTIONS
Even with the best preparation, you’ll never be able to discuss every subject or explore every question that your group members are thinking about. Have your group members bring their own questions to one session this quarter or to every get together you’ll have. You can allow your group to submit questions anonymously during an in-person get together, or online using the social media graphics we’ve provided, or both!

FOR YOU: A 4-WEEK SERIES FROM THE GOSPELS ON EASTER

SERIES OVERVIEW:

It happens every year: the grocery store shelves are stocked with chocolate, plastic eggs are filled with jelly beans, and otherwise normal people dress up in rabbit costumes. For Jesus-followers, there will likely also be ashes, fasting, sunrise services, passion plays, and more visitors at church than you’ve seen all year. But have you ever caught yourself wondering, “What’s it all for?” Why spend so much effort every year to retell the same story and go through the same motions over and over again? Well, while it might be easy for us to lose sight of why the Easter story matters, Jesus never did. His birth, his life, his suffering, his death, and his resurrection all happened for one purpose: you. This Easter, God’s message for you is that Jesus understands your pain, models compassion for you, shows you the fullness of life, and welcomes your curiosity.

It’s easy to go through the motions of Holy Week and the Easter season without really evaluating what each of these days of remembrance really mean. HERE is an article to give us a new perspective on how we can live out our faith and encourage others to reflect deeper on the message of Easter this year.

At least once this month, choose a volunteer to celebrate. Add their picture and a few sentences about what makes them awesome!

Growing up, did you have any Easter traditions in your family? Do you have any you are trying to establish with your own family now? Tell us about them!
