TANGLED TIMELINES Alternate timelines are always a concern when messing with time travel. Every time you do something in the past it adds a new timeline. In this game we will see how quickly you can untangle your timeline. Download Slides WHAT TO GET YARN. You will need one ball of yarn per team. Make sure they are different colors and easy to tell which is which. CHAIRS AND TABLES. You will need a lot of chairs tables or anything else you can use to help make your course. TIMER. A countdown timer or a phone. WHAT TO PREP THE TIMELINES. Before the game you will need to create a course of tangled timelines. Set out all the tables and chairs in the playing area. Place one chair at the front of the playing area, this is where you will need to tie one end of all the timelines(ball of yarn). Next, run the rest of the timelines through the tables and chairs. Don’t tie them to anything just wrap them around in random patterns until you are close to the end of the yarn. Make sure to keep the difficulty level of the strands the same. Place the end of each strand of yarn at the same end of the room. HOW TO PLAY SPLIT INTO TEAMS. Split your group into equal teams. Just make sure there is one timeline(strand of yarn) for each team. Have them line up in a straight line at the start of their timeline(strand of yarn) UNTANGLE TIMELINES. On “Go,” the first person in line can start to roll up their ball of yarn while the timer is going. The person rolling the yarn is not allowed to move any of the obstacles or mess with any timeline that is not theirs. Once the timer is done the person with the timeline must place it on the ground and run back to their team. Tag the next person in line which will have 30 seconds to untangle the timeline further. The first team to completely roll their timeline up and reach the chair it is tied too, wins!
